2chainz & jammies

I worked a Tuesday for the first time ever.  It was a trip I've been avoiding for six months and ...it actually wasn't so bad.  We weren't full either way, the people were nice, and I didn't feel so tired after.  I was just bummed cause it cut my weekend short.  However, you gotta do what you gotta do right?!

The Koogz
I quickly put that behind me and proceeded to Applebee's to have a drink with a the Koogz who will soon be transferring to Honolulu.  The plan was to meet at Blue Martini and then go to 1OAK for bottle service as a going away party for the Honolulu transfers but my girl had to work, so I visited her first then met everyone at 1OAK.

I definitely have a new perspective of some people I was with but, I also have a new perspective of the clubs out here.  They're fun, but so messy when you're trying to hold a drink on the dance floor.  I had to take a shower when I got home cause I was so sticky!  Not cute.  Bottle service is definitely the way to go out here though.  You get your own space, quicker access to refills on drinks, and a place to sit.  What more do you need??  Especially when performers are there.  Last night 2CHAINZ made an appearance and that was hella cool.  It was the first time I saw a celebrity in a club.  It was like my own personal short concert.  We made a hasty get away after he finally performed.  Such an awesome experience but I was like the most awkward white girl there and I quickly realized my ass needs to go to the gym, get in shape, and then buy a new wardrobe.  Most of those girls in the club were on point with their style and swag.  Definitely on my list of things to do in 2013...

And although I could have started today, I spent the whole day in my jammies. I was not interested in getting up or being responsible at all. but I did.. & I actually was kind of productive, considering.

How productive you ask? Welp, I cleaned my bathroom... watched some videos for work that I have been trying to avoid like the plauge, but I feel like management is putting some of my fellow team members in an awkward position so, I just did it and got it out of the way... I folded and put away some clothes... and now I'm writing a blog post about my day.  Wasn't that spectacular?!

Tomorrow I have an amazingly long double scheduled at 13:05 hours but you know will become 15:00+... so I'm off to pack a few things to eat and then hit the sheets.

I'm super stoked for this weekend because the girls are coming!  Maybe that's why I'm not sleeping yet...?

I can't believe it's 2013 already!

One year ago today I was sitting in training to become a flight attendant.  I had gotten over the new and exciting initial feeling of it and was getting into the nitty gritty.  I was determined to get through that training.  Well, I sure did and here I am, a year later, fulfilling my dream as a flight attendant and living in Las Vegas.

2012 was an interesting year to say the least.. I got through training and started my career in aviation, met a lot of new people, made more friends, missed my old friends back home but never missed home enough to want to move back, and developed a new liking for kikis, vodka, and houses.

2013 can only be better.  I'm really bad at making and keeping New Year's Resolutions so instead, my Goals for 2013 are as follows:

  • Get healthier by eating better & exercising more.
  • Practicing better hair and make up habits.
  • Stop smoking.
  • Buy my own place.
  • Learn to budget.
  • Travel more.
  • Take more pictures.
  • and try to blog... again.
So far this year I haven't changed much from 2012, but I am mentally preparing myself to make the change.  Baby steps people, baby steps.

During these first 9 days of 2013 I've worked a lot and completed a lot of errands while still squeezing in some time for kikis.

This year will be marvelous!
